I'm only 25 and have no heart or bp problems (other then a minor murmur) so I'm not worried about a heart attack. But for the last 2 nights my left arm has hurt and felt numb from just above the wrist to the bicep. The only change in my day to day is I had a bad cold that's almost gone. It's only when I'm relaxing after work, sitting or trying to sleep. Any ideas? Thanks

I wonder what you do for work? Do you use that one hand a lot? You may be developing carpal tunnel syndrome. Or you could have just strained it in some way and pinched a nerve. Muscle injurys take a while to heal so if it hasn't cleared up in a day or two or if the pain gets worse, I would see a doctor about it.

If it's not your heart, then it sounds like a pinched nerve, both of which need a physician.
Some people have had mild heart attack symptoms that went on for days before the "boom" hit them...but with the numbness...I suspect pinched nerves...if it's not better, with a murmur history, ditch work and go to a minor emergency.
Wiink has a point! I too feel this could be work related. I had a problem with my wrist and realized I'd spent too much computer time, using mouse mostly. Wrist support, topical pain relief and rest cured it. Don't believe me? am I on computer or not?
Regardless I agree that you would be well advised to see a Doc
