Given that the woman who was subdued with a few swift police punches has admited she was very drunk, has no recollection of the events in question, and according to more than one police officer was violent and even grabbed one of them in the nuts, why does she have the right to complain? Would this have even made the press if the woman was white? It seems to me that irrespective of creed or colour people need to take responsibility for their own actions and cannot then blame the police if they are so violent it takes five officers and a dog to subdue her.

I think that the race card is the biggest excuse that any criminal in every country uses, and they do it over and over again.....If you commit a crime you should be treated in the same way no matter what colour you are, there should not be affirmative action jail sentences because you feel sorry for yourself after you have committed a crime, because of the colour of your skin....Get real people, it does not matter what colour you are, If you break the law you should be made to face the consequences, no matter which country you may be in......................................................................................
We're a free country & everyone has the right to speak their mind or complain. That said, it is truly sad that the media gets ahold of these stories & put such a biased spin on them. Usually the person crying racism is the one that is the racist. I don't get why we even give criminals any rights at all. If you want fair treatment don't break the law!
She has no right to complain. Our society and the media have made it too easy to play the race card. Everybody seems to go overboard to be PC and in fact, it is discrimination and gives excessive rights to those who want to play it. Just ask OJ.
