Anyone have a recipie for grapenut pudding where the grapenuts stay on the bottom of the custard?

I think it has more to do with the way you make it than with the actual recipe. Try pouring boiling water over the grapenuts and letting them sit for five minutes, then drain them well and spread them evenly on the bottom of the pan. Then carefully pour the custard mixture evenly over top of the grapenuts, and do not stir. This way when the mixture is poured over, the grapenuts will already be saturated and less likely to float up. Hope that helps.
