Why do people that USED to live in Detroit talk so much crap?

Why do people that have left feel the need to bury the people that are here in the trenches everyday trying to create something wonderful? Is it that they feel guilty for not having a backbone? Is it they want everyone to leave so they can accept being a turncoat?

Detroit is not a nice place at all. Some of the suburbs are, but actual Detroit it not at all. If you live there you should know that.
