Dell Laptop and/or Notebook?

I am in the market for a new laptop or notebook. I would prefer a Dell. I would be using it for office and home. I am looking for a 17in screen with HD and a lot of memory.

With this discription what Dell model should I get? Price is not really an issue. But I dont want to spend $3000K. I looked up some models on DELL.COM but it doesn't give the greatest discriptions.

Thanks Mookey....I am open to other options and brands. However, I want one with an HD 17 inch screen to watch movies when we travel.

Laptop and notebook can be used interchangeably. Here is the model you want;
Dell Inspiron 1720 Notebook Computer (Core Duo T5450 1.66GHz/160GB/4GB) Use code 641C0DMGDKFLLQ to save $325 off this product (must configure price above $1,299.00 to get discount).Dell has a $325 off coupon code for certain Inspiron notebooks configured $1299+ Coupon code expires 8/23/2007.

I had a Dell workstation, and have been given poor, misinformed tech help whilst i attempted to swap an ultimately irreplaceable keyboard. I won't get yet another Dell! I even have an HP that i admire very plenty - there replaced right into a motherboard situation that HP dealt with very with out postpone and effectively. i'm chuffed!

You shouldn't get a Dell because Dells are made with low quality products, and plus, they have a lot of problems, and their customer support will not be able to help you with your problems. If you want a high quality laptop, you should get a Toshiba laptop. I would highly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092. I have one, and I love it.
