Anyone had any experiences with Prepaid Legal Services, Inc?

I'd appreciate hearing your experiences as a member, a prospect, or an associate whether they are good or bad experiences. Thank you. This is specifically Prepaid Legal Services, Inc. founded by Harlan Stonecipher in 1972 not just prepaid legal services in general but this specific company.

i was a member from their beginning.i used them for a citation and to send some demand letters.it worked great.i know they say they will represent you in big cases but i have not seen it in 30 years.as one poster said they have never done anything in a big case.you can always call them and ask questions.if they make promises then write them down and take their name.a very good friend of the family now sells ppl, he said it has greatly changed.

They are okay for every day run of the mill stuff. Usually, however, you will have to get a specialty lawyer anyway. I wouldn't waste the money.
