I know I can't use my online quickbooks to fix old 1099s but what form do I use?? I need to change the values in two of the boxes. How do I do that? All the links just say print a new form with correction on it. Do I need to get old forms? Use new forms??? HELP ME please!!!

You need to get forms for the correct year.
If your software can't generate them, then you need to call the IRS and order 1099s and a 1096 for the year in question.
The actual mechanics are that you are issuing a corrected 1099, so you make sure the "corrected" box is filled in.

Go to the IRS website and get an ammenment form for 1099,s.....they also have a help line for you. You just need and ammended form.
