1) Give me the keys...I'll take it easy in the turns (lol Joe!)
2) That's today, isn't it? We're probably not going to do anything.
3) The greehouses we have here have white plastic-like covering. Probably because white doesn't absorb the heat as much as other colors, so it's easier to regulate the temperature for the plants inside.
4) Oh yeah. Hubby went to bed at the beginning of the third OT (he had to be up early for work, so I made him go), but when the Stars won I raced into the bedroom and bounced on the bed to wake him up and tell him. I have the ending cued up so he can see it. And Tippett smiled! It's a monumental event when Tippett smiles!
5) That's tough, but I think there are more Red Wings fans.

1) hockey gal9 can. Now that the Pens eliminated the hated Rags, my services as "designated driver" are available to those who would like to celebrate the Stars without getting a DUI.

2) Not a holiday, never will be. I don't celebrate Bastille Day either.

3)Why is Madison Square Garden round? If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, why are there locks on the doors? why ask WHY?

4)Yes, one of the advantages of living in the Pacific time zone. Still got to bed by 11:30.

5) More Red Wings fans, but the amount of knowledgeable fans for both teams is about even, so I guess band-wagoners are the difference.

1) Don't know... I'm going for the Flyers now.

2) I brought some tortilla chips to work, and I might go to La Cocina Snatiago for DinDin.

3) All the ones in Seattle are painted clear. White gives the plants a pure feeling, and thus makes them grow.

4) Yeah. And I'm so dang tired now...

5) Red Wing fans, however, I think there are more true Flyers fans here. Most of the Wings fans here are wagoners.

1) Hockeygal9 seems eager to take control of this ship.
2) Two final exams tomorrow so nothing extravagent until I am done with that. I happen to know the real meaning of the holiday is to pay hommage to the Mexicans who fought off the French at the Battle of Puebla
I too would be playing hockey tonite but the more competitve group plays Wednesdays if I'm gonna spend $15 for an hour of pickup hockey (inbetween seasons at the moment) I might
as well challenge myself. Especially as this Wednesday rumour has it we will be joined by a former NHL player as well as one of my favourite players in the CHL
3) Not a clue
4) I saw the highlights. I don't have Versus or CBC so I had to listen to it on the Internet, which is just as well, it's less distracting than tv, and I had some studying to do.
5) Die-hard fans : Flyers
Overall though : Red Wings

1. I'll do it! I know just the under-construction bridge to drive that baby over!

2. I volunteered at a Migrant Relief fundraiser Cinco de Mayo party this past Saturday serving food, running around after toddlers, and cleaning and breaking down tables for 6 hours, so I think I've done enough for one year.

3. lol I dunno; I don't even know where the green house on campus is, but we have to have one somewhere because we have a botanist in residence.

4. I didn't watch any of it; I was tired from getting up early all weekend so I went to bed early.

5. Red Wings by far! (I'm not one of them, though.)
