Because they don't care if they convict an innocent man. They will lie and force witnesses to lie in order to get their conviction. Look how many men have been released from death row from a number of states recently after service 20 plus years. If DAs were held accountable for the false evidence they present to the jury, they would stop doing it. As it is, they have immunity and break the law without fear of any punishment.

Because they are not sure of the answer! If they had a solid case, they would be fighting for the DNA evidence, not against it! Rule of thumb is never ask a question that you don't already know the answer to. Good luck and God Bless

Every case is different, so I would think it depends on the circumstances.
This is just a thought of something that could happen. It is true that DNA testing can get a close percentage of the owner of the DNA located at the scene. That does not always conclude how the DNA got there.

Because they don't know the answer and if they're wrong it makes them lose a case.
