Twilight Saga Eragon Trilogy Lord of the Rings Harry Potter-all 7 Fablehaven
But...several weeks ago someone suggested to me to read the "ugly series" and the "Marked" series. Uglies was ok until book 3. Then the characters started to cut themselves and it turned me off. The "marked" series, well can't get past the first 20 pages, the cussing is terrible. Any good, clean suggestions?
Thanks!!

There is a ton of great LDS fiction in book or on CD? Try Clair Poulson's Books. Betsy Brannon Green. NC Allen, Chris Stewart's Series the Great and the Terrible is wonderful. Gerald Lund's the Work and the Glory and the Kingdom and the Crown and the Fire and the Covenant is Wonderful also. I don't know if you live by Deseret Book or Seagull Book but they both have web sites and the choices are unlimited and all are uplifting. Anita Stanfield also has some great books There is lots of online stuff at www.lds.org
You may enjoy Tamora Pierce's Tortall series. There are several connected series, all beginning with the Song of the Lioness quartet, the first book of which is Alanna: The First Adventure. My favorite is the second quartet, the Immortal quartet which begins with Wild Magic. The quartets can be read out of order without much confusion, but I enjoyed starting them from the very beginning. Howl's Moving Castle and its sequel Castle in the Sky by Diane Wynne Jones are good as well.
If you enjoyed Twilight you should read The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I'm just starting the last of the Eragon trilogy. I also recommend the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon it's definitely more adult than most of the others but a great read, there are six books already out and the seventh should be out next year and at least one more after that.
I like a lot of the same books. Have you read Midnight Sun? It's like Twilight from Edward's point of view. It's not done or edited or anything, it's just her draft, but it's really good. You can get to it with this link: http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html Some other books I think you'd like are Inkeart by Cornelia Funke, The Host by Stephenie Meyer, and Peter and the Starcatchers and the other books that go after it by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.
