What would you say is your best memory?
What comes to your mind first? Mine is driving around being 16 with my best friend. We have lists of things we did together. I find most of my good memories were things we did spontaneously.
How bout you?

In general, I would say it was traveling. We lived in England for 2 1/2 years back in the 80's and it was a wonderful experience. We traveled all over Europe and our kids had experiences that they would have never had in the US. They loved skiing and repelling in the Alps the best. For me it was the history and the architecture that really had me in awe. No one in the US knows what old is until they have experienced it.

Things change.
I used to think that the first time I got high, then it was about traveling, then again the time this girl kissed me, then it was a different girl.
Now it's about the kids. Things change

seeing my mother for the last time when the ambulance men brought my mother into the room where I was supposed to be having an afternoon sleep (I was pretending) they lowered the strecher & she kissed me when they left the room I ran to the window & watched as they put the strecher into the Ambulance, that was the last time I saw her, I was 3 yrs. old , 66 years ago, & that memory has lived with me all my life.
