What's good Christmas gift for your cosmetologist?

For the past 6 months I've been going to this one cosmetologist at the spa nearby, for all my treatments. She always take the time to fill me in, and she waived the cancellation fees whenever I missed appoitments.

I wonder what can I give her for X-mas, something inexpensive considering I tip her very well each session, but it should be useful and/or showing my appreciation for her service.

Thanks!

Not useful,, but you could get a Hallmark Christmas ornament that is specific to hairdressers or such and give her a small box of Godiva Chocolates.

or

A Gift certificate at a Beauty & Supply store.

You should get her a gift certificate to bath and body works, target or some place with good beauty products.
It's always easy that way because they can pick out their own gift.

When you layer hair you are taking off bulk. The idea that layered hair makes it look thicker only applies to people with medium to thick hair. When they get layers the loss of weight allows it to be more voluminous and look thicker. When you layer thin hair, unless it is really coarse, it is going to look even thinner... because it is thinner. Really thin hair is not going to have more volume on top like med to thick hair will, it is just going to hang and look thinner. Has she seen a doctor about the thinning specifically? If you are going to do layers do long ones. How about a bob?

Send her a card with the same amount or double the amount you usually Tip her, depending on what that is. She most likely has trinkets and crap she does not need, cash is always welcomed by all. Especially those in service oriented jobs.
