What should I get my wife for Christmas?
We are moving into the house of her dreams? It is an old Victorian House. She is into all kinds of decorating , painting and just making a place look good.

would she find a gift certificate too impersonal? because i like to ask for home depot G/C's and other of my fav home decorating shops so i can splurge guilt free on certain things that i wouldn't normally. it all depends on the relationship that you two have with each other. does she need something to unwrap? you could offer to take her out for a weekend (either away or local) and do some antiquing, (give her a budget) to pick up period pieces for your new home. or go completely different and offer her a trip to the spa to relax after all the hard work she's going to put into the home.. hours of painting etc. you could do a couples thing and go together too and end with a romantic dinner somewhere. (not sure where you live)

I would go to Walmart and look in the arts and crafts section to see if you can find a project or two she would like to do and show off so to speak in her home. Make sure it isnt too challenging or she might feel overwhelmed and feel like you are making her do a chore, choose wisely!! good luck

get her a gift card to Lowes or Home depot where she can pick out stuff for the house- lamps, lampshades, outdoor stuff, rugs, mirrors...or else maybe a gift card to someplace like TJ Maxx for more home stuff like pillows, curtains, and bed and bath stuff.
or maybe you can sign her up for an interior decorating class if she is really into that kind of thing. like all that stuff also so I would like to receive stuff like this.
or you could always search online for antique items to go in your house that she might like.
