Why did my liberal employees changed their opinion overnight?
I was reading a lot of liberal questions on Yahoo Answers and I started to question my corporate policy. What if I my company does indeed operate a sweat shop and subject the employees to ruthless exploitation?
So I hired a private investigator and asked him to call my employees at home and pretend to conduct a public opinion poll and ask them if corporations are evil greedy and useless. 43% answered yes.
On the next morning each of them received a pink notice of liberation from evil corporate slavery. I do not want to own slaves.
Not so fast. Every single liberated employee started to beg me to re-enslave him and and threaten to sue me for unjust liberation. How come their opinion changed so quickly?

they didn't.
Are you drunk at this very moment?
you went from unemployed yesterday to "owning" a company today.
If they are not starting until June 1st there is nothing to comment on yet, however, some very weird things have been happening when I use Yahoo and I'm not sure if these are changes or errors on their part. Just one thing I'll mention - sometimes when I type in my email address and click submit I am taken straight to my my most recent email instead of being shown the list and being able to select the one I wish to read. That first email is open and ready to read. It doesn't happen every time but it has happened quite a few times in the last few days. It is a little disconcerting because I lost my previous email account (presumable through being hacked) so when strange things happen now I am concerned. If I were to lose another I would leave Yahoo altogether and will leave if they bring in changes l don't like also.
Sure makes the workplace more pleasant too, with all those angry attitudes gone. I used to run a small motel near a university. Had as many as four employees at first. In the end I only had one housekeeper and did the weekend housekeeping myself. And the one housekeeper knew she wasn't indispensible, because I could take over. Fewer employees means fewer employee problems.
I didn't mind paying the employees so much, I hated paying the taxes. Every third month it was like double payroll
People would rather work than not. Even in the old days, when southern companies would employ kids as young as 12 years old for 72 hours/week, kids still worked for them because they and their families needed to eat. If you really run a corporation, then you are very ignorant, since you don't understand the fundamental motive for working -- which is to make a living so that one can survive. Even in slave-owning societies, people would rather be slaves than die of starvation and homelessness. No wonder the right wing is such a mess. It's attracting all the idiots.
If this were a real story, I would say "Way to go for your patriotic support of the 1st amendment to the Constitution." I guess you, like your hero Bush, consider the Constitution just a piece of paper.
