Mine has to be "Wang Dang Doodle" which was originally recorded by Howlin' Wolf. Willie Dixon also added some vocal to her version and Buddy Guy was one of the guitarists.

I never got to see Koko live unfortunately, but I do have a funny memory of what her "Wang Dang Doodle" did to a group of very well-behaved Japanese exchange students from a Catholic college in Nagasaki. I was supposed to be sort of a hostess and tour guide for these young women who were attending summer classes at the local all-women's Catholic college near my home. They were darling girls, but I thought they were just a little too staid and needed some loosening up: so I took them to the now-closed Riverview Supper Club in Minneapolis, where you used to be able to see some of the best live blues and jazz acts in town. It was interesting to watch their reactions, as the audience that night was predominantly African American and very noisy and friendly. I also introduced them to the evils of alcohol, which I will probably go to hell for (but honestly, what's a little rum and Coca-Cola?). But by the end of the evening, these four young women were very drunk and very happy. We piled into the car and I turned on the radio: Koko Taylor was on, singing "Wang Dang Doodle." These students didn't understand half the lyrics (fortunately), but they all began belting out "Wang Dang Doodle" at the top of their lungs while I prayed we didn't get stopped by the cops. It was a funny, memorable night---for me, anyway, as I suspect the students were all hung over the next morning. But I'd like to think that Koko Taylor changed those women's lives. One decided afterwards that she didn't want to become a nun; another became for awhile an amateur singer in a Nagasaki nightclub, to her parents' horror.
The Catholic women's college, needless to say, never asked me to host another exchange student group again.

Wow, l. a. Frogette - has somebody cloned you? It does not sound such as you or are you in simple terms having a undesirable day? I never met her the two yet i may additionally remember her from the information whilst her son died and the stable paintings she has accomplished when you consider that. There are too few human beings like her who might upward push up and matter and that i'm hoping she rests in peace with Damilola.

I was going to say "Wang Dang Doodle", it was the song by which I became acquainted with her. I guess I'll choose "Spoonful" or maybe "VooDoo Woman". There are so many that I really can't single one out. She was amazing and I am in mourning.
