What should I do about a cut on my cat's paws?

My cat just came in and he's got some cuts on his front paws. One of them is a cut and the other is either a scrape or something. We've pinned the poor guy down for now (minimize the spread of cat-blood) but are unsure about whether it's necessary to take him to the vet right now or what since this doesn't look like a very severe injury.

with a q-tip use peroxide. and put a lil bit of neosporin. it will help it heal faster. do this twice a day. for about a couple days to a week with the peroxide. but just keep putting the neosporin. dont cover the wound cuz the cuts need to breath...goodluck

My cat got a cut and we took him to the vet asap. when you have a cut what do you do? you clean it out right? If you don't it could get an infection. When you get an infection you go to the doctor. DON'T DO ANY HOME REMEDIES!!!! Take it to the vet so that they can give him some pain killers and clean it out properly. Even if it is a little nick take him to the vet because also they could take a swab and test for another kind of infection. Make sure that if it is small that he rest in a bed for a few days. If it is big he may have to stay over night so that the vets can make sure that he doesn't have a(n) infection. If he leaves home and has a big ask and see if you can get it bandaged. If the vet gives you pain killers and a set time in which you should give the cat FOLLOW THEM!!!!!! it is very important for you kittie's health and you not having to make the choice to amputate his paw or put him down

How deep is the cut? To be honest, without seeing it, I'd be tempted to go the vet just to be sure. The vet will flush out the cut and check for any debris inside. If it's deep enough, they will put stitches in or a dressing, and give an anti-inflammatory injection.
