Who here hates the new Google Image search format?

I freaking hate the pages continuously loading up every second. Plus having to scroll through what I'm searching for with 90% chance of missing out on the goodies.

Good topic. I prefer the old layout where you could glean info on an image based on its URL, pixel size, etc. Knowing those things, you waste less time clicking it blind, not knowing if the source is scientific or some random blog, etc. It's more than just images people are looking for, it's the context of the page they appear on. Looking for medical images is a good example; you could get the Mayo Clinic or a gross-out website. With the new layout, you're forced to hover or click to get that info, which wastes time. Having more images per page is the only advantage I see in the new format. They dumbed it down and made it hard to gather source info without extra work. They may change it back if there are too many complaints. Or, they could have a cookies option for either layout to be the default.

I love it. No clicking and waiting for pages to load. Much more user friendly. They kinda copied bing tho. But i'm glad they did. You'll get used to it and like it better soon. If not, then...sucks.

I hate it =( Specially when you press on the picture to get a bigger version... it's so sucky! I guess Bing is my new choice for images!
