My tongue hurts... kinda weird...?

Ok so yesterday I noticed that the sides of my tongue were hurting. I just thought I burned it or something. But today I noticed that it's red on the sides and hurts on the sides and a little in the back... is this something serious? Should I get it checked out?

Think about what you were doing or eating? You may well have burned it or cut it on something. Wait one more day and see what its like tomorrow. If it takes time to see your doc your dentist migh be able to advise you.
