Can someone recommend a really large toaster oven for powder coating?
I want to start powder coating at home, and since only an idiot would try to cure it in the same oven they cook food in, I want a second oven for my work. I don't have 220 in my garage, so a commercial PC oven and a actual range are both out of the question, and far too big for my range of work.
Ideally I would want to be able to do at least one 6x12x24 valve cover, but I know that that is probably asking too much.
It also has to be able to reach 400 degrees F to cure the PC.
Thanks for the help.
Powder coating is a process similar to painting, where a, usually, metal part is sprayed with a fine plastic dust and then baked at around 400 F for 20-30 minutes till the plastic has melted and bonded to the metal. The problem is that it releases fumes while baking so you don't want to risk contaminating your food by using your home oven, hence my trying to find a large one to put in the garage.
