Help me save my soul!? Any good piteous christians!?
Please, I've learned that i have a terminal illness and until now i've been an atheist! I want to find god and repent for my sins, please help me! Are there any self-torture methods which god will accept? Will someone explain to me some of the workings of the bible? Should I get baptized? What if I go to Hell? What is hell like? Am I sentenced to an eternity of torture? Someone please help me quickly, I'm afraid and willing to do anything to purify my soul!
self-torture and such will have no effect on God, and is a sin against Him. Hell is difficult to describe. It boils down to an eternity separated from God, and under Satan's power. It is eternal torture, both physically and mentally, and spiritually and emotionally. I am not a preacher, and one of them needs to advise you further.I am just an intercessor. My advice is pray. Pray is talking to God. He never answers me directly, but often through others, verbally or in writing. Tell Him what you need, and ask for guidance.
The Christian God does not wish for you to torture yourself. Christ already endured torture, pain, suffering and gave up His life and His blood for us. It sounds as though you are already trying to repent of your sins, just by asking this question. My suggestion for you would be to contact a local minister or priest and have him or her help you to understand the miracle that is your own personal salvation! Pray to God and ask Him to open your heart to allow the Holy Spirit to enter in. Beg the Lord for forgiveness and accept Christ as your personal savior. I also think that Baptism would be a good idea, but only if you understand what it means.
calm down, sorry about what happen to you, firstly you need know what you are saying just by getting baptized you think you will go to heaven? and no you wont sentenced to eternity of torture.
There is a way one way now you can take my advice upto you, first get baptized and you need to get you first communion now before you getting you communion you need to do confession, remember when Jesus forgave the thief on the cross in an instant
In you confession you need to confess your sin from you heart you really need to take that seriously thats the last resort. now when you confess you are not confessing to the priest you are confessing to Jesus. I got taught that its best if you write them on a paper so you will remember them. You will be saved if you truly regret your sins, If you say and believe Jesus is the Son of God The Eternal King.
For you I don't know how long you got to live but if its a short you need to hurry Baptism Confess you sins First Communion Last right(i think i spelled it wrong sorry)

Jesus forgave everyone even my sins and i know without a doubt in my Heart i truly say if you really truly regret your sins and if you confess them i know you will be saved by Jesus
