Proper use and translation of Spanish word?

Question

My hispanic friend tells me there is a Spanish word to physically describe a person with northern European features, such as a typical white American.  As he pronounces it, is sounds like it would be spelled UEDO in Spanish.  Phonetically in English, it sounds like WAY-DOE, with the accent on the "way."

I cannot find anything like that in the several Spanish dictionaries or on-line translators that I use.  My questions, then, are:

1.  Is this an actual Spanish word?
2.  If yes, what is the correct Spanish spelling?
3.  Do I have the pronunciation right?
4.  Is this a neutral term?  That is, not offensive in some way?

Serious answers only, please.  I'm much to old for the other kind.  Muchas grácias.

1. It's a Mexican word, it's not that common in others Spanish speaking countries. It is used to describe someone with white skin and/or blond hair.

3. Yes it something like that, except that Spanish o is somehow shorter than oe

4. By itself it's not offensive at all.

Güero= masculine/ de tez blanca, un rubio (person with fair skin, light blonde hair)
Güera= femenine

It is NOT offensive, it's just a descriptive term

Trabajar is the verb "to paintings" in Spanish. The conjugation of the verb could pass as such: Trabajo - I paintings Trabajas - you're employed Trabajamos - We paintings Trabajan - They paintings Trabajador, as others have listed, is "worker" in Spanish.
