Is it normal to be spotting after i got off birth control?? **?

I was on birth control for about a year. I have been off of it for about 3 months. once i stopped it, i didnt get my period for 2 months (i never had a regular period). Now its been exactly one month since i got my period that time, and instead of getting my period, i am lightly spotting for the past two days. I am sexually active but always use protection so i dont think i am pregnant. i have irregular periods if im not on the pill. is it normal to be spotting like this? is it because i got off the pill and my hormones are all over the place?

Don't worry its normal....your body is trying to adjust itself without the hormone you were taking in the pill. But if you skip your next two periods then you should probably get it checked out.

Totally normal.  Once you come off the pill, for three months it can cause irregularities.  Also, if you were irregular before, you'll likely be irregular again.
