What's the most reliable used pickup truck for less than $10K?

Nothing flashy... I will use it for hauling.

If you're doing towing/hauling, something with high torque. An F150 with a 4.6 or 5.4 from 2003 would be nice. But maintenance is a little costly(as for most trucks). A Chevy C/k 1500 with any Vortec is also Very reliable(above 1999 when the new generation engines were introduced). Also, unless you're hauling on non-paved roads, a 2wd will be less costly.

Get a used Toyota Tacoma with Four Wheel Drive. My best friend has been planning what car she wants forever and this is what she wants, she can find a used one (older models but not to old) for about $4,000 to $6,000 dollars
