Do you think Oregon will legalize marijuana this year? It's already going to be on the ballot for November.?
So today the cannabis tax act has turned in enough signatures to get it on Novembers ballot, and coming from Oregon it seems like the majority of people I know here support legalizing it. I know it will still be illegal it the federal level, but at the state level growing for personal or commercial use and possession will be legal. Do you think this will pass.

And I'm talking about flat out legalization to everybody not legalization of medical marijuana like how a lot of other states are.

I hope so, maybe all my local potheads will move there.
Ya well Colorado and Oregon are leading the way with it all and when the vote comes I doubt legalization will have any trouble in those states. However, Obama could legalize, but only if he feels threatened enough by Romney which in my truly middle of the road opinion believe that he will not be.
Obama will submit an executive order that will effectively legalize it nationwide in October. He will do like he did with immigration and just order the police to stop enforcing it.
I am not saying that I support, it I am just saying that Obama will do that to try and ensure his reelection.
could be, except stoners are too lazy to go vote for it.... and it sorta passed here in denver. but 2 points on this; 1) it's a cost of prosecution/police issue, not a revenue stream 2) stoners didn't vote on this people who see the cost of paying did
and it isn't 'legal', it's simply not prosecuted for less than 1oz an longer.
