do you think marijuana will be legalized after this year's November ballot in California?

do you think it'll get enough votes so that marijuana will be legalized for recreational use for people 21 and older?

    Here's the sad part.

I think it will be legalize for recreational use in November. That's a good thing on many levels.

However, the proposed law only permits individuals to possess up to one ounce, so the many commercial uses of cannabis as an oil crop, as a foodstuff, as a source of methane and paper pulp and fiber will still be prohibited.

Cannabis was taken out of commercial viability under the smokescreen of its psychoactive properties. Now it will become legal as a drug, but the smokescreen will remain intact--to the great joy of those who make paper from trees, grow cotton in the desert, and make plastics oils and fibers from petroleum.

It's a good start, but we're not there yet...

It's pretty much decriminalized. The only people they really go after are the ones that have large amounts of it as they consider that an intent to distribute.

If you get caught for pot, half the time, the State of California will give you the minimum sentence, if they prosecute you at all.

It's more likely the Feds would bust you than the California authorities.

I honestly think they should legalize it. Like allow its possession in certain amounts. 21 or older? I think if you're old enough to go out and die for your country at 18, you should be old enough to drink a beer or smoke a bowl.

I simply don't see how one could be against the full taxing and regulation process of America, in all fifty states, while we also have scientific data piling up, which indicates that pot is less harmful than even tobacco.

In California alone, it is estimated to bring in $14 billion every year.

Now multiply that by 50. What deficit?

i could vote, yet why in uncomplicated terms California? that isn't any longer honest. i'm each of ways around the rattling united states! i'm miles and miles away lol. yet on the different hand a minimum of it will be a step in the direction of all different states doing it.

Only in California, land of the fruits and nuts.
