Does anyone know where I can find the wiring diagram for a 2002 Suzuki Intruder VS800 GL?
The service manual I have covers multiple years of models but only includes one year of wiring diagrams, for the 2003 model and leaves out all other wiring diagrams. I have an electrical issue now and need to verify whether it's the fuel cut relay, the fuel pump or another electrical connection. Kind of hard to do without the right wiring diagram.
1. All the model years are not wired the same. A simple check from the rear turn signals, and a few other components show the wiring harness is not the same as the 2003 model offered in teh service manual.
2. A VS800GL does have a fuel pump. It's a single feed hose coming in from the fuel tan, and a pair of hoses coming out to the carbs

3. You need a manual with a wiring diagram to know what connection you are looking for. Is it a two or four wire connection? What color wire should you be looking for.
These are pretty basic things to think about. With the right tool, in this case a wiring diagram this kind of work is very easy. Does anyone know where to find the wiring diagram or not? It's not always about just getting two points.
