Wedding venues in Connecticut?

Hi! I was hoping to get some insight and/or opinions on wedding venues in CT. Preferably around Central CT. My fiancee and I are currently living in Tampa, Florida, however we hope to move back up north soon. That is where all of our family/friends are. His family is all over CT - however he is from Vernon and most of my family lives in MA in the neighboring town bordering CT.

I am thinking of us getting married on October 1st of next year. I would love to have the ceremony outside and the reception inside. We would want to get married through Justice of the Peace since religion is not part of our relationship.

We would need something that doesn't cost a real lot at all. My parents can't pay for the wedding, so it's 100% us.

I have been using google, but I haven't came up with something that completely wowed me quite yet. Also, since I'm 1300 miles away it would help to hear where others went to a wedding or had a wedding there.

Thanks in advance... I appreciate it! :)

Google - - The Inn at Woodstock Hill, Woodstock, CT. They have a lovely outdoor spaces and several rooms to accommodate intimate receptions or ones up to 85 guests along with plenty of space outside for a wedding ceremony on a renovated outdoor area where you can hear their music or play your own through their speaker system. I went to a wedding there and it is a fantastic setting at a destination that is a pleasure to travel to. Check it out.

This is where I got married. The grounds are beautiful and you can also get married there, they have a little stone church. My cousins were also married there by a justice of the peace. It was short and sweet.
