We are planning to visit St. Croix next year, and we're looking for a reasonable hotel that is clean.?

The only resort I know about is the Buccaneer, and prices start at well over $300 a night. We just want something that is clean and safe--not luxurious. If anyone has been there, please give me some names so I can look them up. I would prefer something that is family-owned, if possible.

A few years back, I stayed at the Holger Danske on the Cristiansted water front. It wasn't fancy, but the rates couldn't be beat. It's easy walking distance to many historic attractions.
