KI-GAME131022: Java Security Issues and Compatibility?

Current status: JAVA SECURITY ISSUES: Java 7's new restrictive security improvements have made it more difficult when playing Yahoo! Games Classic Parlor Games like: Spades, Canasta, Euchre, Pool and Hearts. A security certificate (see image below) will be presented when you log into a game room. Please note we will not be updating these game engines to accommodate changes to operating systems, browsers, Java updates, or Javascript plugins. For more info see:

As of Oct 2013, the most recent version is: Java 7 (Update 45).

You may need to follow the directions provided by your browser in 1) installing the new version and in some cases, 2) activating it within your browser.

I used to enjoy select Daily Yahoo Games. I played them for years, until logging on at 3-4 am this morning. I no longer access those games. Thanks for nothing.

I have had this problem with all of the Yahoo games. Literati, word racer, dominoes... It seems that whenever there is a new 'update'... game play ceases. I have the latest version of Java, I have it activated in my browser... Still.. Nothing. I play these games with my family overseas and in different parts of the world. Please fix this issue...
