where do you fill air for your car tyre?

Where I came from, the gas station has a free air pump. Here in Houston, you need to pay & they won;t even last for 2 tyres and they don't even have the auto gauge/ stop when the desired psi is reached. Need advise

TO racinngfan3. Please refer here: http://grammarist.com/spelling/tire-tyre/ and I normally air my tyre every 2-4 weeks. I have a cheap portable air compressor but I guess you are right "g", I will complement with a decent tire gauge. Thanks all

Finding a service station in the United States with free compressed air is extremely rare these days. Only a handful. You will have to pay for services rendered. And buy yourself a decent tire gauge, it will cost you a whopping 5 bucks.

I live in Houston and since the price of everything is high$$$ you pay for everything including water.

Are you British or something the word is tire not with a y in it. Also if you pay for air it isn't free air now is it. If your tires are that low you need to take the vehicle to a tire retailer and have them repaired. You should very rarely ever need to add air to tires.

buy an inexpensive air compressor so you can do it at home. or buy good new tires and they shouldn't leak (the air compressor is probably cheaper.)
