I am going on an airplane in a few days and I am not sure if my allergies will act up, and I have a nasal spray that takes a few days to work good, so are there any rules towards taking it on my carry-on? (I am not checking in any bags)

Sure you can, as long as it's less than 3.4 oz. which most nasal sprays are. You'll also need to put it in a clear ziplock baggie with any other liquids you might be bringing. Here's the rules:

Nasal sprays are generally in bottles smaller than 3.5 ounces, so you will be fine. I bring contact lens solution because my eye dry out.

If the bottle is larger than 3.4 oz, you just need to show it to the TSA guy and "declare" it as you start through security.
