I don't think you're going to get any takers unless you become bonded and insured, have a background check to provide someone and sign-up with a respected company. Who in their right mind would hire someone off the street to house sit? No one I know....Show more

I had housesitters for several years, but would never have considered someone on a post like this. You need to be bonded and vetted. I wanted people that I could check out and that were known by people I trusted. You really can't do that with people coming from a foreign location. The people that I knew in Italy had family members looking after their house when away for vacation.
