Do Christians ever learn that all parts of The Bible are not equally authentic, nor relevant, nor true?

As a New Christian, I was taught to preach the Great News to people, that, if they did not Repent- preferably immediately then they would go to Hell when they died- because their Souls were not Saved, like mine was.

After I developed to the point where I could think for myself, I saw that the Bible Answers that I had been given were often based on monocular interpretations, which ignored any Biblical Data thhat did not fit the Denominational Theory.

. ECCLESIASTES 3:19.

19. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

A LOT OF STORE is set by the statements of an unidentified author, whose writings were added to a collection of known Prophets, who thhoroughly identified themselves, and were recognized as Messengers of God- whereas THIS.... well, bozo makes no claim to Divine Inspiration, but EXPLICITLlY STATES that he is just giving HIS OWN OPINION, and talking about HOW THINGS APPEAR TO HIM.

. ECCLESIASTES 3:18.

18. I said in mine heart, concerning the Estate of the Sons of Men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

THE OWNERS OF THE SCRIPTURES are the Hebrew People, not the Gentiles. They would not be enthusiastic about Gentile races hijacking THEIR God out from underneath them, so they incorporated DEAD LETTER BOOBY-TRAPS.

. MATTHEW 13:47-48.

47. "Again, The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a Net, that was cast into the Sea, and gathered of every kind:
48. "Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the Good into vessels, but cast the Bad away."

GENTILES ARROGANTLY SUPPOSE that just because a thing WAS created by God, that they have the Divine Rght to eat it.

THIS was the First Sin.

God reserved the Right to tell us what we cannot eat.. Gentiles don't believe that.

Therefore, a Gentile, seizing The Bible without the guidance of a Levite, nor a Rabbi will swallow every booby-trap, and blow his brains up, trying to incorporate incongruencies, because they think they need "EVERYTHING" that is in The Bible, just because it is "in The Bible."

Whereas, even the Jews have no use for the verses that Gentile Christians robotically use to build scaffolds to hang themselves on, like Haman the Terminator!

Doctrines built on those verses are not valid.

Isaiah 45:19 KJV I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Luke 8:21 KJV And he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Luke 6: And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Did they also teach you the Biblical meaning of HELL ???

The word “hell” is used 54 times in the King James Bible. It is translated from several different words with various meanings, as indicated below:
In the Old Testament:
• 31 times from the Hebrew “Sheol,” which means “the grave”
In the New Testament:
• 10 times from the Greek “Hades,” which means “the grave”
• 12 times from the Greek “Gehenna,” which means “a place of burning” (This was the city dump where the dead beggars were thrown, i.e. a burial place.)
• 1 time from the Greek “Tartarus,” which means “a place of darkness” specially prepared for angels that have sinned.

You wont get your score until after you are kicking up daisies, neither will anyone else.

The point is that you are alive now, and to avoid utter torment, Don't judge others, lest YOU not you be judged.

Nobody is "hijacking" anything. It is presumptuous that anyone OWNS the Word of God. In fact that very notion of being special by the Jews was a complete misunderstanding on their part. They believed that they were special because of themselves and they then behaved accordingly and badly. They brought the Babylonian captivity upon themselves as Jeremiah warned over and over because of their abominations, like worshiping the false God of Chemosh and sacrificing their children to it. The Jews were not special because of their DNA or pleasant demeanor, they were special because God was calling a nation to be Holy and be the conduit, the path, to bring salvation to all people - as the Jews would be the people by whom Jesus would be born in the flesh. That was made clear from the very beginning in Genesis, chapter 12, where the Lord told Abraham in verse 4, "all peoples on earth will be blessed through you". God called them "stiff-necked" and "stubborn", that they had abandoned Him for idols. Nevertheless, God made an eternal promise that the Jews would be in His plans. Because they rejected His Son, they have been temporarily cut off. In the future, they will be restored and Jerusalem will again be the center of worship.

As to the meaning of Ecclesiastes 3:19, Solomon is talking about death of the body - not the soul - that man dies like the beasts. Jesus made it clear, in the account of the rich man and Lazarus, in Luke, chapter 16, that both of them died and went to a conscious state after the death of their bodies. For Lazarus, he went to Paradise; for the rich man, he went to Hades and was in torment.

Yes, I already know that. All major religions have some truth and some untruths to them... The most important thing for us to do is love... Love covers over a multitude of sins... The greatest commandments are to love God first and foremost and love others as you would love yourself. We were all here to spiritually grow by learning how to love... Religion is unnecessary when we learn how to love and please God by serving others..
