Besides from the Bible, where else can Christians learn true, authentic knowledge of good and evil?

Besides from the Bible, and those following the word of God, where else can Christians learn true, authentic knowledge of good and evil?

Is there any other source of knowledge that really teaches what is truly good, and what is truly evil?

Just curious.

The Bible is the Tree.

Update 2:

Higher intelligence: I got that one from "the tree of life".

Update 3:

All the books that teach Good and evil away from the bible are only teaching evil. If a book teaches good and evil using the bible, you might as well read from th source:

    Ecclesiastes 12:12

12And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

    Be smart not curious

The History Channel is a great source, maybe you can learn about the religious crusades where thousands were massacred by christian douche bags, or how religious persecution led to people being burned alive and tortured in ways you couldn't imagine. Then you'll start to realize who's good and who's evil.

The only TRUE source of Knowledge of Good and Evil is the Bible, written by God.

ALL other sources are written be MAN, and are thus fundamentally flawed. They MIGHT contain snippets of truth, but also contain huge amounts of selfish, self-centered flaws.

    The Holy Spirit.

    John 14:26

    New International Version (NIV)

26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

We can learn of good and evil by searching our own heart. Golum, from Tolkein's Lord of the Rings trilogy, was the walking dichotomy of man's state... a spirit, willing to be of use and service, and the flesh, wanting the "precious" at any cost...even one's own soul.

Your question is critically incorrect. gaining expertise of of something in accordance you your god means that you in basic terms look in factors that are because of your god. in this party which may be the bible. in case you opt for to attraction to close what Allah thinks of excellent and evil, then you genuinely would study the Koran. in case you opt for to attraction to close what Zeus thinks of excellent and evil, then you genuinely would study Greek mythology. in case you opt for to attraction to close what smart adult men that base the idea of excellent and evil in words of human suffering, then you genuinely would study the textual content of respected Buddhist clergymen. in case you opt for to attraction to close what diverse colleges of philosophy imagine of excellent and evil, then you genuinely study books that disclose those philosophical perspectives in context with good and evil. None of those factors are the least bit authoritative besides the undeniable fact that. each and each and every has its own flaws and weak point of argument. truly, good and evil are social constructs that morph and modify with societal perspectives. "good" in a unmarried society will be considered "evil" in yet another. as an party, in some Muslim societies, woman genital mutilation is considered a good element, the position a variety of of something of the international perspectives the practice as an atrocity. what's considered "evil" in a unmarried millennium ought to develop into good in a diverse millennium. as an party, guidance that the earth revolves around the daylight replaced into an evil so undesirable that it replaced into punishable by technique of lack of existence and/or existence imprisonment below four hundred years in the past, the position now that's considered a standard resources of actuality and a good element to tutor.

Look to Christ's Church-The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church-2,000+ years and counting.

There are 3 Pillars to the Church:

Sacred Tradition. Holy Scripture. Magisterial Teaching.

We look to Christ's Church-led by God the Holy Spirit- to teach us what it actually means.

We see every day-what happens when left on our own to determine what Scripture means.

(Some christian denominations who believe in fornication, abortion, homosexual unchastity, divorce...)

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a great explanation of Christ's Faith-in layman's terms (easy to understand):
