Like, I really find the Liberty Mutual commercialos to be sarcastic, smart-alecky, and even misleading. I'd never consider them for auto insurance. Why do they (or other advertisers) think we're stupid?

Every advertisement is a turn off. They epitomize lowest common denominator marketing.
Take college level logic courses. You will never think about anything that appeals to people in the same light.
