Since you did not have the mandatory coverage for a minimum of 9 months during 2015 you will be fined at tax time.

The fine is the greater of $325 or 1% of your income in excess of the filing requirement.
If you are not a dependent, you add your earned and unearned income together. If that is less than $10,300, you will not owe.
