I’ve got this odd fear of not gaining enough weight ?
1. I’m 14 years old and heard I’m supposed to gain 1-2 lbs every month, not sure how I can keep it up?
2. I am also worried that I am subconsciously trying to stay the same weight all month and then gain a pound when the next month comes?
3. If I was subconsciously doing that (what I talked about just above) would the weight I gain be all fat if I gained it all at once by eating a lot (not junk food, just high quantity of what I’d eat before) would all of the weight be fat or would it be the same composition that I would be gaining anyway?
4. Would that be considered an eating disorder?

Why do you think you have to gain 2 pounds every month? Who the hell told you that?
Just eat healthy foods, no junk and low carb. You will do great.
1.) Everyone gains weight differently, so unless your doctor's telling you to gain more weight, you're fine.
2.) Eat however much you need to eat in order to stay healthy. If you feel fine and you're not constantly hungry throughout the day, I'd say stick with where you are at. If you want to try and gain weight, research diet plans/meals that slowly increase your daily calorie intake. Adding a small increase in calories to each day is much more effective than cramming in loads of food on one or two days of the month.
3.) Not necessarily, but the composition would be different depending on what you normally eat. Lets say you're in a sport and you add a little extra protein to your diet everyday. Depending on how hard you exerted yourself, your body will use that protein in order to help rebuild the muscles you broke down. On the flipside, if you had a massive increase in protein on one day or two, the same amount of protein needed to rebuild your muscles would still be used, however the rest of it would be converted to fat for storage. In that sense, one case has your body using the protein effectively and building muscles, and the other has your body storing a lot of it as fat.
4.) I think it would depend on the severity and how often you do it. BED (Binge Eating Disorder) is defined partially as eating a large amount of food in a small period of time, however especially because you're capable of limiting this to only once or twice a month, I'm not sure this would pertain to you.
If it's a confidence issue, talk to your doctor about looking into healthy ways to increase your weight. Everyone puts on weight differently, so don't be alarmed if you're not gaining weight as quickly as your peers are. Give it time, but as long as you're happy and healthy, that's all that counts.
