It's not just about how much calorie you take in. If you scrambled eggs, there's still a long time the body needs to convert those to fat storages. Like 4-5hours for eggs. But if you can burn em off before they get stored, you're gonna lose weight. Plus, eggs have tons of protein that can help you with rebuilding muscles which do speed up your metabolism! In short, I love eggs:)

It's a good thing to eat, its a great source of protein and is great for controlling hunger. Any claims of speeding up metabolism I would generally class as suspect.

Of course not. No food helps you lose weight. You lose weight by consuming fewer calories than you burn.
