My husband tried to strangle me yesterday during an argument ?

I told my husband he needed to help out with chores he got mad and went to the spare bedroom and slammed the door.  I went to the bathroom to blow dry my hair and shouted he was lazy...he came out and unplugged my blow dryer while I was using it, and threw it on the floor, then with his two hands he grabbed my neck and told me to shut the f... Up stupid b....im gonna f....you up..Then he quickly realized what he did and stormed off...I started crying and pushed him off...i am beyind shocked he would ever do this. .he took off because hes afraid of police and hasn't been back all weekend... This never happened to me and I'm shocked by his behavior.

It's not god damn rocket science.  You really have to come here and ask people on Yahoo answers?  So you have not seen any f'n lifetime movies?   Yea it's not god damn rocket science... but go ahead and be that kind of person who forgives them and get it 5x worse the next time.  Just be one of those women who just ignore it and deal with it .. then end up in a ditch somewhere.    Stupid *** women

I watched my mother go through this same thing. You know what happened? The man said he was sorry, they moved on, then he began beating on her children and molested her daughter (me). People like that have no boundaries and no respect for others. Get out, NOW, while you can. He crossed that line, and actually intended to hurt you.. That should be a huge dealbreaker my friend!

You don't pose a question. It's a sad story; you can't let it go and carry on as normal, or he will think he can get away with it again.  Another time, tell him that you want to discuss the way the home is run, division of labour, etc.
