You would know about it by grabbing the Live end of one
The Electrons dont actually flow, like water
 When excited they excite the next electron and so on
Eletricitity is best when used in Series and Alternating Current
Electrons on their own take on the form of Plasma, such as Lightning or Saint Elmos Fire

They can't be 'touched' like a stone or water but they can be moved and influenced by electric or magnetic fields.  I spend my life counting electrons for a living and making them tell me everything they could.  It was (and is) fun.
