I'm trying to remember the name of a song I think is called Woman. What band recorded it?

The chorus has almost impossibly high notes for the male singer. Sadly the only word(s) I can recall now is that high noted "Woman".

Update:

Not Lady, but thanks! I want to say it was recorded in the 1970's and has that big bluesy type rock sound.

Update 2:

Not ELO either, but again, thanks! (Nor Lennon's Woman either). I want to say it's a one-hit wonder, and may not have been a huge hit. It's just driving me crazy! I love the song, but I'm just braindead!

Update 3:

That Peter & Gordon wasn't it, a little too folksy sounding, but thanks for the help! This one has a BIG sound, maybe some brass in it?

Update 4:

Not Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon either, but again thanks! This sound is more along the lines of Ides Of March's Vehicle or the like.

Update 5:

Sorry, but not Gary Puckett either. Thanks for the help though! I heard it as a cover tune years ago in San Antonio.

Update 6:

Not Johnny either. Sorry I cannot give more details, but I'm just in vapor lock.

I think there was one called "Woman" in the 60's by Peter & Gordon. Could that be it?

Sure you aren't thinking of Styxx song "Lady" ? No, maybe not. What year, about, did the song come out? Is it a rock song?
