Anybody have a clue about the call in the Steelers-Colts game (see detail)?

where the Colts D jumped offsides, claimed the Steelers moved, and the refs called it a "no call." Seems to me the only clearly wrong call was a 'no call' -- it was either illegal procedure or offsides, but had to be one or the other. Didn't hear much post-game chatter about that one.

Update:

Well, even though you hate football. . .are ya busy next Friday?

Well I don't think the game swung because of the reffing. I'm a huge Colts fan but the Steelers obviously outplayed them......look at the first half. I think the game was won by the best team that day. And what an exciting ending! Wow did Bettis breathe a sigh of relief or what??

As for the call? *shrugs* Don't you wish you could be the ref sometimes?

I also think that a non call was BS. I don't know if the Steelers jumped or not....Replay didn't show much. I don't know what the Refs thoughts were. I think the Refs really did a poor job in that game. You hate to see a game swing on piss poor officiating.

weirdest call was when the long haired steeler caught the ball, rolled on the ground (still with ball in hands) then got up, and dropped the ball. Totally a catch. Stupid ref called it incomplete pass on the challenge. Not a good call by the refs!

Anyway, the no call is when the ref's decide they made a mistake. no call is like a do-over.

Yeah, you're right weird call, obvouisly the Steelers were trying to pull them offsides. However, I think they did as the entire Colts line flinched at the same time not just one or two guys.

Does it matter? The Steelers won the game anyway.

What i think happened is the refs didnt see it and that was what they had to call besides looking like idiots.
