Boyfriend back-stab?

Question

My best friend's boyfriend broke up with her in December. He says now that he regrets the break-up, and that he still likes her, but I like him. I don't wanna seem desperate and 
I don't want to hurt anyone, especially my best friend. What do I do? She says she'd be okay, but I know she'd be really mad. What makes it worse is that I already went out with him for four years!!!! He's a little immature though. But he's so hott!!

You say she says she'd be fine...but you know she'd be really mad...is he worth losing your best friend over?

Why'd you break up in the first place?  Break ups happen for a reason - don't go back down that road.  Besides, it's only been a month (or almost 2 depending on when in Dec) that they've been broken up.  Too sore.  Stay away from him.

My answer is yes.  You will lose her as a friend for quite a while but you also might learn something from it.

And if you're already thinking about it, then you're halfway to doing it.
