Please check with the Dr. to make sure your baby does not have allergies. Does your baby show improvement if you take her outdoors, or are out of the house for a while? If she does, she is more than likely allergic to something in your house.

My son went through that for about 3 months, we were in and out of the doctor's office and even one stay in the hospital for pneumonia. Very scary, but we also have 4 other children who are in school bringing home germs all the time. It seemed like he'd never get better, one cold after another, but he finally is. Part of it is environment, part is the weather, part is germs. Just keep getting after those boogers with the bulb-booger getter and saline drops, no matter how much your baby squirms and screams, it's the best thing to help flush out the germs as hard as it can be on parents.

Also clean everything once really well and then clean things more frequently. Get some clorox wipes and get all of your door handles, light switches and other things you don't normally think to clean. Clean all of baby's toys and bedding, don't forget the car seat and diaper bag. Germs hide in the strangest of places and many times the baby is just catching the same cold over and over. Try not to take baby out to grocery store or other public places if you can avoid it, I know that's a hard one sometimes. If you do have to take baby with you, bring more anti-bacterial wipes and wipe the baby area of the cart before putting baby in it, or even get one of those play-n-shop thingies. Also don't be kissing or playing with baby's face while in the store, I know it's hard but you put the germs right on them. Wash your hands whenever you come home from being out, baby's too and anybody else who will be around baby. These precautions aren't all necessary all the time, but expect for about a month to be stingy with who you let hold your baby, make everybody wash their hands first, and make sure baby is getting enough fluids. If you're still nursing, nurse more and reduce solid foods slightly to give more benefits of the breastmilk. If bottle fed, don't water down the formula but you may need to increase fluids like juice to help baby stay hydrated. Keep yourself healthy too, you have to take care of baby and if you're sick, baby will get sick too, as well as you won't be able to take as good care of baby.

Always, if you're worried, go see the doctor. It can seem counterproductive, you pick up just as many germs at the doctor's office if not more, but when it comes to your baby's health you can't ever worry too much. A doctor would rather see your baby every two weeks for sniffles than have to visit baby in the hospital with pneumonia because you ignored your intuition.

Your baby will be fine, they get through it and so will you!

Don't worry too much.Kids are prone to climatic changes and stuff like that.Try to avoid giving medication as much as possible.Let the baby develop immunity. We often worry and rush to give medication.Try apply balms like Vicks and see if she/he finds relief.Don't worry.Remember there is no cure for common cold we can only suppress its sypmtoms. You could try alternative medications like Homeopathy which has no side effects.
