If you trusted in a relationship and were let down, you acquire some street-smarts for the next time around. You're better equipped, but in a way its not fair to the next person to be evaluated on the behavior of predecessors.

If it's your own psyche that you're questioning and evaluating, then it's experience. If it's the other (new) person that you're evaluating purely on the mistakes of an old flame, then it's baggage.

I can tell you for sure if you are bringing the last into the next you haven't given yourself enough time to heal.Thats baggage. Its really not fair to the person you are seeing.. They deserve a whole you and so do you!..make sense?

experience
and experience also teaches us NOT to judge someone else by anothers actions. We need to learn and be wary, but not hold against others.
