Agree with #1 (as always!).
I think a large part is simply not realising (OR being told) the implications of 360 beforehand. Then Yahoo don't exactly make it "easy" to back off - that gets people's backs up.
A marvellous product, but hideously poorly promoted by Yahoo.
Also I feel a lot of people are near paranoid with personal info. As Jane says, they CAN restrict it on 360, but initially one is not aware of that, and natural kneejerk reaction is "Kill this thing, quick!".
I too am delighted with 360 personally. I USED to have a "real" website ( http://eaglekiwi.com/ ) but since 360 arrived my "real" one has fallen into almost total disuse (which doesn't upset me at all!).
360 is just SOOOO easy!

My guess is that most people don't realize they can set specific features of their 360 page to be visible to only friends or to be completely private.
Either that, or they don't realize a couple of clicks can change their settings so that people will see their old profile instead of the 360 page. For some people, a 360 page just seems to reveal to much information about themselves.
Another thing is that many people are used to closing an account after they start it and don't really find anything interesting in it.
My question is why Yahoo! doesn't make an option for people to just delete their 360 page and all the information that's been put into it. Though I like it personally, people should always have the option to get rid of something if they don't want it.

sorry to write this here, I don't know what to say about your question maybe they don't want others to see what they do so they prefer to open a blog somewhere else that whenever they write something on it or update it their contacts on yahoo messenger can't have the * beside their names, I wrote this to get help from you cause you answered my question about the private friend list , I thought that after my friends accept my invitation they would be out of my favorites so now I like to know about what you said. How can I move my friends to the favorites list and don't let them to be out of that list?? I'm waiting for your reply, thanks
