If you make a sandwich with only one slice of bread, what do you call it?

My wife mocked the term that I grew up with. I'll share it when I close this question out.

Update:

So far, everyone is wrong, it is an elbow sandwich.

Seeing how no one has answered in the last day, time for a vote as no one got the correct answer.

That's right I was looking for ELBOW SANDWICH.
