Not usually, but it can if the company is forced to make accomodations that requires them to make expensive changes that forces them to lay off other employees.

It's definately good for people with disabilities, but not so good for the people who had to be laid off, but that's just a down side that can occur and is not usually true.

In what sense is this so??? In respect to how people w/ disabilities conduct themselves? When hiring, everyone has the same labor rights some people are more protected with reason, and under our constitution they are citizens. What does your question relate to? To the ability of the person w/ disability to interact w/ regular people?

By the way ADA stands for Americans W/ Disabilities Act. It's a law governing all areas of employment in any establishment to make it easier for a person w/ disability to feel part of the community, state, city or country they live in.

ADA was created to fulfill the dreams of many challenged persons who need and desire to be treated as normal as posible. They yearn and deserve to be loved and to be treated fairly by all and to feel as individuals with a purpose, gaining the respect and trust they deserve. They have dreams like us. They are not any different. They should not be treated any different.
