Well, the Bible doesnt give many directions as to where it actual was other than to say it was "east of Eden". Most people assume that the land of Nod was already a named city with people already living there, which doesnt have to be the case! Moses who is the author of Genesis probably was just mentioning the area by the name it went by when he was writing the story so that the people hearing it would know where he was talking about. Back to the story of Cain and Abel, after Cain killed his brother...God told Cain that he would have to "wander the earth".Take a guess what the name "Nod" translates to..." wandering", so it is quite likely that Cain found the land and named it himself. It is also assumed that Cain found people already living there when he went to Nod. This is not so, the Bible never says that Cain went to Nod and there he found his wife and had a son.It says it was in Nod that Cain "knew" his wife and had his son- Enoch. Cain in all likely hood 'brought" his wife with him when he ran away from Eden and was actually the founder of Nod.

Adam, Eve and Cain were the only humans created by Yahweh on the earth. There were still the Other People.

Firstly, Adam and Eve were not the only humans on earth.

In Gen.1:26 the word "man" Hebrew (adam) without Article means "mankind".

    אדם

In Gen.2:7 the word "man" Hebrew (eth-Ha adham) meaning " this same man Adam".

    את־האדם

So on the sixth day mankind created.

On the eighth day the man Adam was formed.

Nod, well we know it was east of Eden, but where was Eden.

    Some say Eden was Iraq.

Some say Eden was in the Mediteranian Sea.

I think Eden was near the Pamir Plateau or Tajikstan.

Highlander is one hundred% suitable however the greater constructive question is that if Adom and Eve have been the 1st and easily humen on earth and in a position became into ineffective then how did the human race start became into it insest? genetic freaks.... and if Cain became into despatched to the land of Nod then how could he detect a spouse if there became into no person there to discover. Oh ya that insest component returned or mabee Adom and Eve have been Catholic?.?

"Going to the land of Nod" means falling asleep, I guess you could say it is located on the subconscious plain.

the land of nod is a dreamy beautiful place -in our heads- where we can all drift off and sleep in...when we are children...and if your inner child wants to go there..go ahead...we'll wake you up for supper
