350 degrees. Drop in deep fryer and fry 3-5 minutes. Chicken strips will start to float when they get done.

My husband makes home-made chicken bites (my sons call them "chicken yum"). He uses eggs and ritz cracker crumbs.

Heat the oil to 450 degrees. When the oil is heated, drop CAREFULLY the chicken pieces into the oil. When the chicken floats and turns over and is a dark golden brown, it is cooked completely. The oil always decreases in temperature after each 'batch' of chicken you cook, so wait a few minutes for the oil to heat up again before cooking more.

If, when you cut into a piece, there is pink, you can microwave the chicken for a minute or so until it isn't pink anymore.

Here is my husbands recipe (it is to die for... it really is).

    Chicken "Yum"

    Ingredients:

1 pound of chicken breast cut into 1 inch pieces

    1 egg beaten

    1/2 cup flour

    1/4 tsp pepper

    1/8 tsp salt

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    2 cups crushed Ritz crackers

    1 gallon of vegetable oil

    Instructions:

Heat vegetable oil in deep fat fryer per instructions with heating unit.

Add seasonings to flour, place on a plate and set aside.

    Dip chicken pieces in flour.

Follow by dipping each piece of chicken in the egg and then directly into the cracker crumbs for an even coating. Set each piece aside on a clean plate untill all are coated evenly by the egg/cracker breading.

Carefully drop a few pieces of the cracker coated chicken into the preheated oil. When the chicken floats to the top of the oil and is a deep golden brown, carefully remove the chicken from the oil with a metal slotted spoon or basket designed to do this.

Place this cooked chicken on a paper towl lined plate so that the excess oil is blotted off.

Continue to cook the chicken this way until it is all cooked. You may need to give the oil time to heat up again a few minutes between times depending on the size of your fryer.

This recipe makes a very crunchy tasty breading with a juicy tender chicken in the middle.

Serve with whatever sauces you enjoy, but my family likes them straight up with no sauce at all. My sons call this meal "Chicken Yum" because they love it so much.

I would say at least 3 or 4 minutes. But just do a test run with that and see how it comes out. It's usually hit and miss with deep frying, but you don't want to overcook it so be careful.

Heat fryer to 365 degrees. Cook strips to golden brown then flip over and cook other side to golden brown (about 5 or 6 minutes on both sides)

Check the package directions because thickness and breading will affect the time. If you aren't sure, cut into the meat on a paper plate and see if it is done inside, you don't want to bite into rare chicken. Another tell tale for deep fried foods is that it is done when it floats.

375ºF. Do not crowd in the oil, or the temp will drop too low to cook properly, and the end result is a greasy peice of chicken.

350 degrees. Judge them by when they are brown enough. About 10 minutes or so.
